25. Cross-Hands Snap Kick(Dan Feng Chao Yang - Red Phoenix Faces the Sun)① Right foot turns inward. Left toes turn outward. Body turns 180° left-rear, facing southeast , forming a Left Bow Stance . Both hands change to Tiger Palms . Following the body's left turn, they draw back near the abdomen, then move upward and outward. Elbows bend, palms press inward and downward , stopping in front of both shoulders. Both elbows bent, both "tiger's mouths" face forward, palms face down. Eyes look forward-downward (Fig 27①). ② Immediately following the previous movement, hand shapes unchanged. Right leg snaps forward in a kick , height not above the waist, instep pulled taut, power focused on the toes . Eyes watch the right foot (Fig 27②).Key Point: Kick height should not exceed the waist.
26. Bow Stance Right Chopping Palm(Hu Tun Ruo Yang - Tiger Devours Fragile Lamb)Right foot steps forward into a Right Bow Stance . Upper body turns slightly left and leans forward. Right hand changes to palm and chops down using the ulnar edge (little finger side) as the impact point , in front of the right knee. Palm faces down-backward, fingers point left. Left Tiger Palm draws back near the right ear, palm faces forward. Eyes watch the right palm (Fig 28).Key Point: The downward chopping palm must be fast and fierce.
27. Double Bow Stance Left Blocking Punch(Hu Zhuan Shen - Tiger Turns Body)Right foot turns inward. Left toes turn outward. Body turns 135° left, facing northwest , forming a Double Bow Stance . Simultaneously, left arm rotates outward (waixuan ). Left hand changes to fist and drops down, passing in front of the abdomen, moving rightward, forward, then outward to block left . Fist height level with chest. Right arm rotates outward (waixuan ). Right palm moves upward, arcs leftward, changes to fist, bends elbow, passes in front of the abdomen, and draws back to rest near the right waist , fist-palm facing up. Eyes watch the left fist (Fig 29).Key Point: Force concentrated in the wrist joint during the blocking punch.
28. Double Bow Stance Right Uppercut Punch(Bo Cao Xun She - Parting Grass Seeking Snake)Right foot steps northeast into a Double Bow Stance . Upper body leans forward. Simultaneously, right forearm rotates inward (neixuan ). Using the ulnar side (forearm bone) as the impact point , the right fist arcs from the waist forward-downward then upward in an uppercut , elbow slightly bent, fist height level with waist, fist-hole facing up. Left fist draws back to rest near the left waist, fist-palm facing up. Eyes watch the right fist (Fig 30).Key Point: Center of gravity must be low, as if a tiger pouncing.
29. Double Bow Stance Left Uppercut Punch(Hu Chu Lin - Tiger Emerges from Forest)Left foot steps northwest into a Double Bow Stance . Upper body leans forward. Simultaneously, left forearm rotates inward (neixuan ). Using the ulnar side (forearm bone) as the impact point , the left fist arcs from the waist forward and upward in an uppercut , elbow slightly bent, fist height level with waist, fist-hole facing up. Right fist bends elbow and draws back to the right waist, fist-palm facing up. Eyes watch the left fist (Fig 31).Key Point: The left uppercut punch must be fast and powerful.
30. Double Bow Stance Double Pushing Palms(Bao Hu Gui Shan - Embracing Tiger Returns to Mountain)① Right foot steps north into a Double Bow Stance . Body turns left. Both hands change to Tiger Palms and lift upward-left , height level with shoulders, elbows bent. Left palm fingers point up, palm faces right. Right palm fingers point up, palm faces left. Eyes watch both palms (Fig 32①). ② Immediately following the previous movement, stance unchanged. Waist twists right (you ning ). Body turns to face due north . Both Tiger Palms rotate to face palms forward, fingers pointing outward, as they push forward simultaneously (palms approx. 20 cm apart), height level with waist, arms straight.
